Onestar Ella Hotel

This hotel is conveniently located near a waterfall, a hill, and tea/coffee facilities.

Location not far from Ella city center as well as the waterfall. Also, down the hill into Ella town. A lot of goodies for breakfast.

Liked my 4 nights stay. The staff was very helpful and the host too. I had a nicely furnished double room with a particularly nice view out over the valley and Ella rock. Really enjoyed a bidet in my private bathroom. This hotel exceeded all expectations in every way, would recomand.

In the double room, you can find an iron, coffee and tea-making facilities, and a work desk. the bathrooms are neat and come with a bathtub. the staff here is super friendly, helpful, and always smiling 😊.

Patient staff, nice views of the valley, everything is perfect. Its location is marvellous, not far from Sri Lanka, and Ella Rock. There is Cafe sameera serving quick meals 15 mins walk from the hotel.

The breakfast offerings were great with coffee, tea, toast, fruit, and eggs, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.

The atmosphere at Onestar Ella had a warm and family-friendly vibe. the hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to both Ella town and the city center.

The view from our room at Onestar was amazing. We reminded me of we were in the middle of a nature documentary, just lounging on our terrace. The room itself was clean and nicely furnished, with enough space for us. The air conditioning worked well, a relief in the Sri Lankan heat. Although the walls were a bit thin, we lucked out with no noisy neighbors. we highly recommend Onestar for its lovely room view and pleasant accommodations.

The location was awesome, super close to the main area. the room was top-notch, really clean with a stunning view and a big balcony that made me happy. 🌟

I keep coming back because it's the perfect place with friendly staff who gave me directions. It has everything I need - Wi-Fi, Flat-screen TV, Dryer, Electric kettle, VIP check-in/out. Can't wait for my next weekend getaway!

The view was amazing. Clean and nicely furnished room. Enough space. Okay air conditioning. No thin walls. Highly recommend!

The view of the river was great, and there were lots of activities nearby. The free breakfast was fine, just like every other breakfast in Sri Lanka, but hey, at least it was something.

Oh, and who needs a variety of dinner choices anyway? The limited selection was just perfect for me.

The value for money at Onestar was really good. Our room had a fine view of the mountains and the Ravana Waterfall, and the staff treated us with utmost friendliness and care. Kumar especially went out of his way to ensure our comfort and even suggested a room change to make it easier for us. The location was ideal, just a short tuktuk ride away from the city center and a great starting point for our tour to Ella Rock.

The breakfast menu could have been more diverse.
